POSTPONED!: Modern Literature: Ascension Single Launch

The Dark Horse is delighted to be hosting the single launch for Modern Literature’s newest single, Ascension.

A stable of their live shows, Ascension is a cinematic, gothic swirl of impassioned words, funeral procession keys and wide screen guitars, underpinned by a melancholic bass loop that’s both relentless and melodic. Sinuous lines slink forth from the wash and dance between a brutally raw and emotional vocal performance through a snarling storm of snares and cymbals, building to a boiling point crescendo and ice-cold release.⁣ They’ll also be debuting some new material to mark the occasion.

Local legends You Me and the Trees and phenomenal noisemaker Blue Ruth complete the lineup of what promises to be an explosive night of live music highlighting how awesome and diverse the Second City’s scene truly is.
