Strange believers

March 9 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Strange Believers are delighted to be playing a reunion gig at the Dark Horse, a mixture of original songs and covers (Kinks, Jam, Clash, Buzzcocks, Damned, Cream and the Only Ones).

Formed in 1985, Strange Believers played around the Birmingham area, recorded at Selly Oak’s Rich Bitch studios, were played on BRMB’s John Slater show, and after a short tour in Sweden split up in 1986.

Strange Believers were the first podcast on ‘When the Night Comes – a collection of sounds and stories from unsigned Birmingham bands from 1985-2005’ https://open.spotify.com/episode/5KBIWlKKGTXe5ze0FUM5Pb?si=e4d41fd95f904004 , and following this have been prompted to play a reunion gig, 38 years after their last pub gig!

Special guest will be Ewan Marshall, described in a Backseat Mafia review as indie-folk meets shoe gaze
